First semester experience / Bim Bam Bum serial

Well the last semester was a little bit agitated  and collapsing
Basically because in a subject me and two other partners  have to design the art direction of a serial that  try to recover the history of the Bim Bam Bum Night Club and all that happened in the period of the 50s in Chile.
We had a lot of ideas which were based principally in the reference that we had investigated from that period.
Most of our work was centered in the performances that the artists of the Bim Bam Bum shows every night to the national bohemian in Santiago.
We design the stages and the costumes of the sketchs that appear in the serial
based in rhythms like Rumba, Tango and Swing.
All that investigation and creation mixed with the ideas of the director formed a new visualization of the 50s  with a little bit of influences of movies  like Chicago, Burlesque and Nine.
That serial be released the next year in TVN.

INTRODUCE MYSELF

Hi everybody my name is belén and  I am twenty-one years old
I live in Renca, Santiago de Chile with my family ,my lovely cat Flori and with my two turtles Lucas and Julieta.

I study stage design at Universidad de Chile and with a project in the same career with a group of students I could travel to Europe and visit countries such as Germany, France and Czech Republic.
My interests are for graphic and costume design, read book that talk about vampires,magic or histories about Sherlock Holmes and his cases and also I interested in the photography and collect pictures.
Personally I love the sixties period because its style, fashion and music.
